How much does a Clemleddy home cost?
A.Unfortunately, there is not one easy
answer to this question. The obvious
analogy is “How much does a car cost?”
We offer pre-planned & designed homes
that have a base price with available
options. Custom homes and renovations
are designed within your budget
parameters, but the final cost is
dependent upon the ultimate design and
selection choices.
Will you build on my lot?
A. Of course,
although, we do offer various planned
land/home packages in our own
communities. We work on many projects
in the Lake Wallenpaupack communities as
well as the surrounding area.
Do you charge for estimates?
A.No. We are
more than happy to spend some time
discussing your needs at no obligation.
We will then produce a detailed estimate
for you (usually in about a week) since
we want you to have accurate and
complete information as you consider
your housing needs. Call our office or

appointment.
How does the process work?
A.The building
of a custom home or renovation IS a
process. A certain relationship based
on respect and trust must develop
between the builder and client for this
process to be successful. It all starts
with an initial dialogue which results
in a mutual understanding of realistic
expectations. Once this is achieved, we
will enter into a Design Agreement that
defines the path to a Construction
Contract and production.

How busy are you?
A. Although we
are usually very busy, rest assured once
your project is inserted into our
building schedule, it will be done on a
timely basis. Our strong commitment to
customer satisfaction means we treat
every project as if it were our own.

A.Welcome to
Pennsylvania. Call us for an
appointment during your next visit and
we can put together a program which
includes all of the necessary services
for someone moving to this area. We can
communicate via e-mail, fax or phone and
our website will soon be equipped with a
messaging system which will be limited
to our current homeowners and contracted
clients. Your home can be ready and
waiting for you in time for your move.
Do you subcontract?
A.We began in
the home building business over 25 years
ago as subcontractors (framing
contractors). Although we handle a
majority of the carpentry work in-house,
we fully understand, better than most,
the value of exceptional subs and
maintain great relationships with our
Trade Partners.
Do I need a real estate agent to buy a Clemleddy home?
A.Although we
maintain professional relationships with
several respected realtors, our
experienced sales staff can assist you
throughout your home building or
remodeling process.
Once I choose a floor plan model do I
have any other options?
A.Certainly!
Whether we are providing a
design/building process or you have
chosen a Clemleddy model, our goal is to
build all of your dreams into your very
own home. Additionally, we offer
interior design assistance along the way
if you are feeling a little overwhelmed
with all of the choices! No matter
what, a sales professional will be there
to assist you throughout the entire
process.
Do you offer financing options?
A.We are happy
to assist you in locating a lender to
meet your needs.
How can I check Clemleddy’s reputation?
A.Talk to
your friends, neighbors or local
business people; ask in church or at a
school function. For over 17 years we
have been a part of the community and
are both proud and humbled by the
reputation we have earned. We maintain

Can I make changes during any of the
building phases?
A.Certainly.
Although we maintain a strict policy
that all changes to the contract or
Scope of Work must be in writing and
signed by both the client and Clemleddy.
How did you get your name?
A.Craig Smyth, president and owner of Clemleddy Construction, chose the
company name in honor of an influential
man in his life…Clement Leddy. With an
unwavering sense of duty, honesty and
morality, Clem forged a path wide enough
so others with the same exacting
standards could follow. It is in his
honor that we proudly serve the lake
communities of Northeastern Pennsylvania
and offer quality homes for all to
enjoy.
